Learning is all around The Goddard School. Whether gently holding an infant, encouraging toddlers to share, or providing preschoolers with enriching activities, caring teachers support the healthy development of children from six weeks to six years.  Developmental guidelines form the basis of unique lesson plans that are brought to life in fun and imaginative ways and in learning centers for dramatic play, creative art, science, computers, and blocks and puzzles.  Daily Activity Reports, a corporate Quality Assurance program, and accredited continuing education for teachers are just a few of the reasons Goddard is setting the standard in childcare.

Campers will get the opportunity to experience life on the Missouri S&T campus, learn about college life from student counselors and receive instruction from university faculty. And the best part is, they do it while having a blast with children from around the nation who share their interests and appetite for discovery. A summer at Sylvan can make all the difference next school year! Whether your child struggled, just wasn't challenged or lacked the study skills to make the grades, Sylvan can customize a summer program that's right for your child. Skills and knowledge gained throughout the school year fade during the summer months. According to experts at Sylvan Learning, the leading provider of in-center and live, online tutoring at home to students of all ages and skill levels, loss of content retention begins within 24-48 hours of learning unless the new information is reinforced or applied immediately. After a month without reinforcement, approximately 80 percent of what a student has recently learned can be lost. Sylvan offers summer camps in beginning reading, advanced reading, math, study skills and writing. Call to find out how Sylvan can help your child catch up, keep up or get ahead this summer. New location at Highway 141 and Manchester and in the Chesterfield Valley.
